Required from September 2025, Ashmole Academy is seeking to appoint a part-time Careers Coordinator.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and highly organised individual to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Careers and the Year 11 team to support students in making informed decisions about their future education, training, and career pathways.

Senior Science Technician
Term time, 36 hours per week
Pay Scale 21-24 (actual salary £26,144 - £27,875)
Required from September 2025, a Senior Science Technician to lead a team in our busy Science Faculty at Ashmole Academy. Responsibilities will include preparing for practical classes, setting up demonstrations and the maintenance of laboratories, and ensuring that technical support is given to the teaching team.
The Science Department at Ashmole Academy is committed to fostering a curiosity in our students for science in the world around us. Our science curriculum encourages students to think like scientists whilst developing their knowledge and skills as we seek to inspire the next generation of science specialists.
At Ashmole Academy, an equal number of students study either separate or combined science at GCSE. More than two thirds of our separate science students achieve at least a Grade 7, and approximately 15% achieve a Grade 9.
At A-Level, we have approximately 50 students studying either Biology, Chemistry, Physics and/or Psychology. The Scholars Programme at Ashmole Academy allows our A-Level students to conduct their own scientific research project and to support the teaching of Science in our Primary School.

We are seeking to recruit three part time General Kitchen Assistants to join the kitchen team at Ashmole Academy. This position includes:
- Simple cooking duties.
- General kitchen and dining room duties e.g. washing-up and the setting up and the clearing away of equipment as well as dining tables and chairs.
- The serving of meals and operating of a touchscreen till.
- The cleaning of the kitchen and it’s surround and equipment.
- To be aware of customer needs.
- Under the direction of the Secondary Head Chef to ensure that food is prepared, cooked and served in a safe manner.
