HLTA/Cover Supervisor Performing Arts  

Full time 36 hours per week, term time plus 2 days

pay point 26-29 – actual salary

£22,710 - £25,013pa

Ashmole Academy is looking to appoint a HLTA/Cover Supervisor for our Performing Arts department (music and drama) who will be responsible for supervising classes during the absence of teaching staff.  Under the direction and supervision of teaching staff, the successful candidate will also provide learning support and assistance to pupils in and out of the classroom and may also work with small groups of pupils and on a one-to-one basis. 

The successful candidate may have a performing arts related degree, will have a passion to inspire and maintain high quality of teaching and learning and have a flexible approach to their job role.   This may be suitable for candidates who are considering a career in teaching and the School Direct Programme.   This post is to start on 1st September 2022.

Teaching Assistant (Special Educational Needs)

Pay Point 21 – 24  - Actual Salary - £20,128- £21,792 per annum

36 hours per week, term time, plus 2 days

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our professional and dedicated Curriculum Support team. You must be caring, calm and positive with a commitment to inclusion. Duties will include delivering intervention programmes, supporting SEN students in class and at other times. Also, there will be a need to contribute to termly reviews and contribute to planning meetings within the department.  In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during the absence of teaching staff on a rotational basis. The successful candidate will have a qualification or interest in the area of Special Educational Needs.  This post is to start 1st September 2022.
