Children in Need

At Ashmole Academy the sixth form have organised a netball match that will have teacher and students from year 12 and 13 taking part. Students from all year groups will pay a fee to attend the event to watch their teachers playing a competitive support, hopefully be allies with the students playing against their teachers.  This is a fundraiser event that has been successful in previous years at Ashmole in raising money to help support the Children in Need event which helps raise finance for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK has been sufficient.

The senior team on Friday the 17th of November dressed up in onesies as another fundraiser activity in aid of raising more money for children in need. While wearing these hilarious costumes, that appealed to the younger year groups and encouraged them to donate to the wonderful charity, the team circulated the school to collect money from all the year groups. It is remarkable that people are willing to dress up in silly costumes for a day to raise money for a cherished charity.

Events such as Children in Need are very important to Ashmole and that’s why we suffice to try and accumulate as much money as possible by providing activities for people to take part in or be bystander in while still making a contribution to the fundraisers and respectably the Children in Need.
