As part of the AS Geography course, students study Geographical Investigations which is a fieldwork and research unit. Within this students study two topics; Extreme Weather and Rebranding. To support their work for the examination, students undergo a field day visit to Stratford to learn about urban rebranding; and in particular focus on the Olympic Park and site. In addition students completed a three day residential field trip visit to Juniper Hall in Dorking. Here they investigate River Flooding in Guildford, test infiltration rates and complete weather diaries alongside looking a t Rural Rebranding of the Denbies Vineyard.
