Ashmole Academy Trust was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance. The Trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school and has future expansion plans.  

Ashmole Academy is a forward looking, high achieving secondary school with an excellent team of staff.   The school has an excellent reputation within the local community with strong support from governors, parents and pupils.   We currently have approximately 1700 pupils with a growing and vibrant 6th Form of approximately 420.  Our examination results are consistently high and the Academy remains heavily oversubscribed every year.

In Charge A Level Mathematics

Required from September 2020 an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious teacher of Mathematics with qualified teacher status to teach all age and ability range to join a successful team. This post will support the Head of Mathematics and will be in charge of A Level Mathematics within the school.

Maths is a major strength of the school and the Mathematics department has a proven track record of success at GCSE and A level with record numbers achieving 9-7 grades at GCSE and A*/A grades at A Level. Over 100 students choose Mathematics as one of their A Level subjects.

Teacher of Spanish

Required as soon as possible, an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious teacher of Spanish with qualified teacher status to teach all age and ability range to join a successful team. This post would be suitable for a newly qualified teacher (NQT).

The Languages department at Ashmole Academy has ensured excellent pupil progress over all key stages. Our GCSE Language cohort is comprehensive, and significantly larger than other comparable establishments. The Languages department has been instrumental in ensuring a high percentage of students achieve the EBACC. The Languages team at Ashmole has significant expertise at all levels of study, and staff are deployed accordingly. A wide range of ICT is used regularly and effectively to motivate students, and accelerate progress. There are also a number of international trips which run throughout a student’s time at the Academy, which offer the opportunity for deeper understanding of the culture in the countries in which languages are studied

Physics or Biology

With the possibility of an allowance for the right candidate

Required for September 2020, an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious teacher of Physics or Biology with qualified teacher status to teach all age and ability range to join a successful team.  This post would be suitable for a newly qualified teacher (NQT).

Science is a major strength of the school and the science department has a proven track record of success.  A large proportion of students at GCSE study triple science.  The 6th Form has a strong science base with a large proportion of pupils going on to study a science related degree.
