Teaching Vacancies

Ashmole Trust was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance. The Trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school and has future expansion plans.

Ashmole Academy is a forward looking, high achieving secondary school with an excellent team of staff.   The school has an excellent reputation within the local community with strong support from governors, parents and pupils.   We currently have approximately 1900 pupils with a growing and vibrant 6th Form of approximately 600.  Our examination results are consistently high, and the Academy remains heavily oversubscribed every year.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Chemistry teacher who is passionate about developing the curriculum to inspire the next generation of scientists.

The Science Department at Ashmole Academy is committed to fostering a curiosity in our students for science in the world around us. Our science curriculum encourages students to think like scientists whilst developing their knowledge and skills as we seek to inspire the next generation of science specialists.

At Ashmole Academy, an equal number of students study either separate or combined science at GCSE.  More than two thirds of our separate science students achieve at least a Grade 7, and approximately 15% achieve a Grade 9.  At A-Level, we have approximately 50 students studying either Biology, Chemistry, Physics and/or Psychology. The Scholars Programme at Ashmole Academy allows our A-Level students to conduct their own scientific research project and to support the teaching of Science in our Primary School.
