September 2026 Entry

The School Admissions Code stipulates all schools must inform parent/carer(s) of the outcome for selective tests before submission of a secondary school application via their home Local Authority Common Application Form or www.eadmissions.org.uk .

Ashmole Academy has therefore held the Musical Aptitude Tests in line with the School Admissions Code 2021 and the results have been shared with parents of all candidates who took part in the 2025 process for September 2026 entry.

September 2027 Entry

Parents of current Year 5 pupils who are interested in applying under the music criteria for September 2027 entry, please see the following guidance:

• An application form will be available via the Ashmole Academy website from January 2026.
• Closing date for application will be May 2026 (date tbc).
• Musical Aptitude Test will be held in June 2026 (date tbc).
• Musical Aptitude Auditions will be held in July 2026 (dates tbc)
