Ashmole Trust was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance. The Trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school and has future expansion plans.
Ashmole Academy is a forward looking, high achieving secondary school with an excellent team of staff. The Science Faculty at Ashmole Academy is a well-established, collaborative team dedicated to fostering curiosity and a passion for science in our students. Our curriculum is designed to encourage scientific thinking while developing students’ knowledge and skills, inspiring the next generation of science professionals.
Chemistry is a highly popular subject within the Science Faculty, consistently achieving outstanding academic outcomes at both GCSE and A-Level. Many of our Chemistry students go on to study at prestigious Russell Group universities. As Head of Chemistry, you will work closely with the Heads of Biology, Physics, and Psychology under the leadership of our innovative Head of Faculty to create a culture of excellence, aspiration, and care within the department. The department is well-equipped with 12 laboratories, a modern prep room, and a dedicated team of three science technicians.

Teacher of Drama and Music
£37,870 to £56,154 p.a.
Required from September 2026 or sooner, an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious teacher of Drama and Music with qualified teacher status to join a successful team.
At Ashmole Academy the Music Department is very well resourced and is supported by a full-time Music Manager and full-time HLTA in Performing Arts, enabling us to run a very busy co-curricular schedule, including two orchestras, bands and school shows. Twenty school places are awarded each year for musical aptitude and we provide numerous opportunities to participate in performance masterclasses, including jazz and chamber music. The drama department is equally well-resourced with a fully equipped Drama Studio, that has recently been refurbished.
