  • Children in Need 2023

    Published 23/11/23

The students here at Ashmole took part in the Children in Need on Friday the 17th of November 2023. Students united together to help fundraise for the charity, fostering a sense of community, which taught them valuable lessons in empathy and social responsibility.

Our students came to school in Non-School Uniform and participated in donating what they could during form time to our senior team sixth formers, who dressed up in colourful onesies representing characters such as Pudsey, to really get into the spirit. During this time, students learnt the importance of giving back and making a positive impact on the lives of the less fortunate.

In addition, students were encouraged to participate in teamwork activities such as the students vs staff netball match which influenced our school community to get involved in the netball match and cheer on their classmates. This was a fantastic event and had an amazing turn out.

Thank you to the senior team for organising this event and raising more money. These efforts not only contribute to a positive and united school culture but also create lasting memories for students, reinforcing the values of compassion and altruism.

We are proud to say that we have raised over £2050 for this year's Children in Need fundraiser.

A massive well done to everybody that contributed.
