Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Mathematics
PP 26 – 29, term time plus 2 days

We are looking to appoint a HLTA/Cover Supervisor for our Maths department who will be responsible for supervising classes during the absence of teaching staff. Under the direction and supervision of teaching staff, the successful candidate will also provide learning support and assistance to pupils in and out of the classroom and may also work with small groups of pupils and on a one-to-one basis.
The successful candidate may have a Maths related degree, will have a passion to inspire and maintain a high quality of teaching and learning and have a flexible approach to their job role. This may be suitable for candidates who are considering a career in teaching and the School Direct Programme. This post is to start from September.

Required as soon as possible, a Teaching Assistant to join our professional and dedicated Curriculum Support team. You must be caring, calm and positive with a commitment to inclusion. Duties will include delivering intervention programmes, supporting SEN students in class and at other times. Also, there will be a need to contribute to termly reviews and contribute to planning meetings within the department. The successful candidate will have a qualification or interest in the area of Special Educational Needs. We are seeking a compassionate, calm, and positive Teaching Assistant to join our professional and dedicated Curriculum Support Team from September 2026. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of students by supporting their learning, wellbeing, and independence.
The successful candidate will work closely with a student on a one-to-one basis, providing personal and intimate care in accordance with the responsibilities outlined in the job description. In addition, you will play an important role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs both in the classroom and through targeted intervention programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
· Providing one-to-one support, including personal and intimate care.
· Supporting students with SEN in lessons and during other school activities.
· Delivering targeted intervention programmes to support learning and development.
· Contributing to termly review meetings and supporting planning within the department.
· Working collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider support team to promote inclusion and positive outcomes for students.
