Jaffa Cake Workshop
On 15th July 2015, gifted Year 10 students were invited to attend a ‘Jaffa Cake Workshop’ run by the University of Law. This interactive workshop explores the famous Jaffa Cake court case and is designed to help students understand the importance of constructing arguments and how to support them. They had the opportunity to practice skills such as persuasion and the use of facts to support points. The session included a brief careers in law talk however the skills practiced were relevant to a wide range of subjects and possible future careers.
