Ashmole Trust was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance. The Trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school and has future expansion plans.  

Ashmole Academy is a forward looking, high achieving secondary school with an excellent team of staff.   The school has an excellent reputation within the local community with strong support from governors, parents and pupils.   We currently have approximately 1900 pupils with a growing and vibrant 6th Form of approximately 600.  Our examination results are consistently high, and the Academy remains heavily oversubscribed every year.


Teacher of Mathematics

£34,514 to £51,179 per year

We are looking to appoint a passionate Teacher of Mathematics to join a strong team of 20 Mathematics teachers, led by an experienced Head of Department.

 At Ashmole Academy, we have an excellent Mathematics department who deliver consistently outstanding results. Over 94% of our students achieve Grades 9-4 at GCSE, with nearly half getting Grades 9-7. Mathematics is the most popular A Level subject at the school with a usual cohort of approximately 130 students studying it, many of these students go on to pursue a career in the field.

 

Ashmole Academy is a high performing and heavily oversubscribed local comprehensive school in North London, situated near Southgate Underground Station.  The school prides itself on maintaining a high level of mutual respect between students and all staff, and continues to support other schools as a Behaviour Hub lead school. Teacher of Music

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious teacher of Music with qualified teacher status to join a successful team. 

At Ashmole Academy we have a team of 15 visiting music teachers and over 180 students taking instrumental or vocal lessons in school. The Music Department very well resourced and is supported by a full-time Music Manager and full-time HLTA in Performing Arts, enabling us to run a very busy co-curricular schedule, including two orchestras, two choirs, and several bands. Twenty school places are awarded each year for musical aptitude and we provide numerous opportunities to participate in performance masterclasses, including jazz and chamber music.

i/c Media and Teacher of English

£34,514 to £51,179 per year plus TLR 2

We are looking to appoint an inspiring and dynamic teacher to lead our Media provision from September 2024.

Media is currently taught at KS5 but we are looking to expand our offering and provide this to GCSE students also. The successful candidate will also teach some English lessons. English is a strength of the school and the English department has a proven track record of success at GCSE and A level. Our Department, strives to instil in all our students a passion for reading and writing that will underpin their development in other curriculum areas.
