On Wednesday 6^th December, we attended an Insight Day at the international law firm in central London.

As a whole, the day was very interesting and useful as we learnt about the day to day lives of people that work there. We got a talk from in-house lawyers for ASOS as well as talks from the law firm’s partners. We were given the chance to ask questions of solicitors, paralegal apprentices and trainees amongst others. This was particularly useful because I learnt about the different pathways to working at a law firm. We were given the opportunity to work with the solicitors and people from other schools to create arguments for an ethical debate which was fascinating.

Finally, we had mock interviews conducted by the firm’s partners and received individual feedback on what improvements we could make. Overall, the day was intriguing and enjoyable and I am glad I was able to experience it as it gave me a better insight into a career in law.
