Dear Parents/Carers,

It is with sadness that I am writing to inform you that one of our students tragically became seriously ill on the evening of Thursday 19th December 2019 and died suddenly and unexpectedly, early on Friday 20th December at home, from a rare medical condition. They were a much-loved member of the school community. Our thoughts are with their family and friends.
The school has arranged counselling for the students' friends organised by Grief Encounters, counsellors who specialise in bereavement counselling.
A book of condolence will be available for pupils to sign over the coming days, which will then be given to the family.
