School Direct places are available within our partnership from September 2017 in the following subject areas:
Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, MFL, Design and Technology, PE, RS, Drama.
Non Salaried Route

Salaried Early Years and Primary
There are two separate School Direct training options:
School Direct (tuition fee)
For high quality graduates, who want to be part of the school’s team from day one. This is similar to the PGCE route. This programme is funded by tuition fees paid by the trainee, who may be eligible for a bursary.
School Direct Training Programme (salaried)
Is an employment-based route for high-quality experienced graduates with some work experience. Trainees will be paid a salary on the unqualified teacher’s pay spine.

As a School Direct trainee within our partnership you will be provided with comprehensive support and training at the beginning of your teaching career. You will be part of a team of very strong and ‘outstanding’ staff who will support and mentor you during your first year in teaching. The accredited provider for our programmes is UCL, Institute of Edication.
Our school direct partnership includes the following schools:
Ashmole Academy (lead school), Copthall School, Christ's College Finchley, Saracens High School.
Ashmole Primary School, Eversley Primary School. Woodside Primary School, Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School.
We work in conjunction with UCL, Institute of Edication.

How to apply
Applications for both School Direct routes must be made via UCAS www.UCAS.com which will be open for applications shortly. Interviews will be held during November/December/January depending on when you apply.
